SMEs in England, Scotland and Wales with up to 1000
employees are being offered funding of up to £10,000
towards the installation of energy efficiency
equipment upgrades and refurbishments. The Carbon
Trust's Green Business Fund can provide up to 30 per
cent of the total project cost.
There is more on offer besides the non-repayable
capital contribution. A range of support services,
including an energy survey and advice on the
implementation of energy saving equipment, is also
available. And a Green Business Directory lists Carbon
Trust accredited suppliers of energy efficient
equipment.
Funding under this scheme is being offered until next
March on a first-come first-served basis. You can read
